William C. Andersen

One-third of the muscle behind ComStar Media, William has dreamed of owning his own business since he was a young man. The idea for starting a publishing company actually came to him when his wife was worried about what kind of chance she'd get at publishing her own novels. Wanting her to get the exact deal she had always dreamed of, William set out to conquer the publishing industry.

He started out as a stockholder and business advisor to a small roleplaying game publishing company called Seraphim Guard, Inc. Quickly his talents moved him up through the ranks until he was the President of the company. It was through working with Seraphim Guard that he realized he had a good chance of building, from scratch, a similar company that focused on novels. It wasn't long before his dream was realized.

Jennifer Lee Andersen

Growing up, Jennifer always knew she wanted to write. She was always fascinated with stories and loved to read. Even when very young she was always found with a book in her hands. Whenever she was bored she told herself stories, building elaborate worlds for her make believe. She would tell stories until she fell asleep at night and tell stories to keep her company while she walked to school. She was destined to tell stories.

When she was nine years old, she tried to write her first book. She got as far as the table of contents before she lost it. But she didn't stay down for long, soon she had a new table of contents to loose! When she got older, her stories started becoming a little more elaborate and soon she was writing out many ideas for novels. In Jr. High she had a list that she carried with her everywhere. The list outlined several novel ideas that stuck her as good stories to tell. In High School she got an electric typewriter for Christmas and she began working on her first novel. In college she got her first computer and she was off!

Although stories were easy to come by, finishing them was oftentimes her biggest problem. Before she'd be done working on one story, another would catch her avid attention. In 2000 she was introduced to fan-fiction and she was able to find a way to focus her writing into shorter, easier to finish stories. The short stories grew to multiple part stories and soon she was writing a short story that would be comparable in size to many novels!

Joining with her husband to create ComStar Media, Jennifer now takes care of much of the information-gathering, treasury, and as always, works on her stories.

Jack R. Reynolds

It was important to William and Jennifer to be able to have an interactive website that didn't take all their time doing. They needed someone who was willing to come up with A+ designs but didn't cost a lot of money. Hands down, they could only think of one person with the know-how to put together the site that they wanted but also someone who would be an asset to the entire company.

Jack was brought on board pretty much at the beginning of the conceptual stage of ComStar Media. He had been doing web pages since 1996 and also does custom graphic designs. Quickly his interest made him familiar with databases, PHP, JavaScript, and other various tools for up-to-date and wonderful looking web pages.

When he joined ComStar Media, he already had a business in creating inexpensive web pages and graphics. So the company of JackR.net and ComStar merged to create CyberStar Designs. CyberStar Designs is a division of ComStar Media that is run by Jack. With this division he will be able to provide the same low-cost and great looking professional website's and custom graphics to his customers as he was under JackR.net, but also he would be able to provide ComStar with a necessary element that makes the whole of the company more complete.
